Board Member

Boualem Bousseloub was born in Algiers, the capital city of Algeria in North Africa.  Following his studies at the College of Europe, the university of the European Union, Boualem served in various capacities in the public and private sectors in Algeria and France including as

France ,

* Special Assistant to the last French Prefet (Governor) of Algiers, Algeria

* Governor’s Deputy Chief of Staff in Albi, Southern France

Algeria,

* Special Assistant to the President of the Algerian Red Crescent

* Member of three Algerian National Commissions

* Negotiator of a subcontract for the first Algerian sugar beet factory

* Head of an agro-industrial project on olive oil covering three states and 2500 mills

* Head of a statewide interdisciplinary task force on youth in the capital, Algiers

Boualem eventually migrated to the United States where he lived first in Sacramento and then in Pasadena, California.  There again Boualem served in a number of capacities including as 

* Special Advisor on Protocol to California Secretary of State March Fong Eu and her Personal Representative to the Los Angeles Consular Corps

* Member of Executive Committee, Chief of Protocol, and Chair of the Session on International Cooperation of a UN Conference on Desert Management in 1979

* Contract Administrator at the Ralph M. Parsons Co. for the World largest airport (192,000 acres) at Parsons Co

* Sr. Buyer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL)

* President of AVAZ International Dance Theater

* Chair of the Senegal subcommittee for the Pasadena Sister Cities Committee

Boualem also taught International Marketing at UCLA Extension for 10 years and lectured Russian and Chinese Managers on “Doing business the American way.”

Trilingual by birth, Boualem learned English in High School.  Boualem is the author of The Mysterious Kingdom of the Arroyo.  His motto is: “May we enrich ourselves from our differences.”
