Norman Hoffberg served as President of Petra Manufacturing Company, an 85-year-old Chicago manufacturing company specializing in custom presentation packaging, from 1993 through 2017.  He is now Co-President of Petra & Holum, a merged entity resulting from the merger of Petra Manufacturing Company with Holum & Sons, another Chicago custom packaging manufacturing company.  Norman’s extensive background as an entrepreneurial executive also includes ownership and management of Securemark Decal Corporation, a security printing company that he purchased out of bankruptcy, successfully turned around, and sold to the largest hologram manufacturer in France in 2010; and his position as managing partner of Joss Partners, LLC., a commercial and residential real estate investment firm in the Chicago metropolitan area.                              

Norman looks to use his experience as an entrepreneur and executive, and his communication skills to give back to the community.  In addition to his service with United Council for Higher Education in Haiti, Norman has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Tracer Lenticular Graphics, a New York company helping customers put their ideas into action, and ARS Enterprises Inc., a California company serving the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, and medical diagnostic industries.

Norman earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ohio University and a master’s degree, also in journalism, from Northwestern University.
